First thing that came off my to-do list were the Halloween totes. Yes, they got done. Alas, I don’t have any pictures to show for. It seems that I can’t remember to take pictures once I am done. But I am trying to work on that issue.
Another item that I finished in time was the quillow for P’s best friend N. And yes, I did remember to make a picture of it. N’s favorite color is purple. I happen to see a beautiful purple cat print. I counterbalanced the purpleness with a green fabric because it was a very whimsical print. I appliquéd a cat silhouette on the quillow top. It looks really cute. N was very excited when she unwrapped it. I am glad that I was able to get her something that she seems to love.
I have to confess that I wasn’t able to get the leaves done for our thanksgiving table. I just didn’t have the time. My sewing machine was acting up and some projects just got extended because of it. My husband came to the rescue though. He got me a dream machine – the Paff Quilters Expression 4.0. More on that baby tomorrow…
