I haven't posted in a few days. I don't really have a good excuse except that I got insanely busy. I was working up a storm in my crafting corner in my bedroom. I finished 4 Halloween totes, 5 Gratitude Wraps (pattern courtesy from Soule Mama), 2 blocks from my '12 Days of Christmas' wall hanging and I knitted another 15 inches of my scarf.
I also have a little story to share of a conversation between P (my daughter) and myself.
P and I have to cuddle every weekday morning for 30 minutes in my bed before either one of us feels ready to face the day with its many demands. We often talk about what we dreamed about, what we have to do and/or what we would like to do. P had a very reflective morning on Monday. As she cuddled a bit closer to me I heard her say: “Mami, I could be the perfect child…” Curious about what brought this on, I asked her how. She looked up at me with a mischievious twinkle in her eyes and said: “Well, you could let me not do my homework, eat all the candy I would like, read as much and whenever I want to, play how long I want to, and not make me go to school!” I looked at her and we both had to laugh about it!
P with all her quirks, smiles and attitudes is already the perfect child to me and M!
Have a wonderful day!
